Mmm hmmm.  I love slouchy pants.  They make an outfit feel relaxed, but not so relaxed that it looks like you forgot to change out of your jammy bottoms.

Oh yeah and they're comfy.

If It Were Up To Me...

...I wouldn't leave my house today.  I'd take my leggings and oversized shirts and plant myself in front of the fire with magazines and a pot of tea. 

But alas, it is Wednesday, not Sunday.

Luckily this ensemble doubles as a dance outfit (just remove the jewelry and some layers), so at least I don't have to change before making my way to the dance studio.

Retro Flair

Ok honestly, I'm not sure if this dress really qualifies as vintage.  And here's the story behind it:  

This dress was found some years ago at a little shop not too far from my house.  They don't usually have vintage or handmade items (the tag inside says "handmade for you"), and I didn't think to ask the story behind the garment.  I mean, the print was retro and awesome, I loved the shape of it, and it was an amazing deal.  So I brought it home with me.

The only downside... the fabric is this nasty, stiff, polyester stuff.  It's pretty gross to touch, but I power through it anyway.  All in the name of fashion, right?

Some Thankful Things

9.)  it's only Friday, friends! Two more whole days of weekendiness lies ahead of us. nice.

10.) coffee. so thankful. Especially if there's some steamed eggnog on top. mmmmm.

Ha.  Finally, I made myself post again this week.  It was kinda like pulling teeth though.  And my own teeth at that.  gross.

  

Don't know if it's the mood I'm in or what, but taking pictures of what I'm wearing has just been a big ordeal for me the past few days.  Other bloggers out there, does this happen to you too?  And what do you do to inspire and motivate your lovely selves?  

You'd think my new shoes would be enough motivation to post more.  I mean, I guess it's helped a bit.

They have been the inspiration for my last two outfits.  Ok, three.  But sorry, I didn't take a picture of the third one.

I mean, for goodness sake, every top I wore last week was plaid.  And I'm not about to create some sort of topless Monday Mix.  ewwww.
