I'm So Sneaksy, Wearing Jammies as a Dress...

It's true, this dress is really jammies.  How do I know this?  Because I bought it from the Jammie Corner at Anthropologie.  

You know that corner, right?  With a fabulously fluffy bed in the center, frilly and funky loungewear all about, and lovely candles and lotions just calling your name.  

Yeah.  There. 

This little number was just hanging out in Jammie Corner, calling my name, with a sale price I couldn't refuse.  

So I bought it.  

And wore it. 

In the daytime.

With a slip under it, of course.

Jammies tend to be a bit see-through otherwise.

I'm not going to sit here and give excuses, because no one really wants to read about that.

I will share this with anyone who cares:  I'm getting some exciting new ideas and inspirations regarding clothes and how to dress the tummy proportionately to the rest of me.  And it's fun again getting dressed every day.   

Ahhh, feel that creativity flow again.  It feels good.  

And refreshing.  

And just in time for spring.

Really, it was much too cold to have nothing on my poor frozen legs.  I mean, it snowed this week, for crying out loud.

But I did it anyway.  Because I'm crazy that way.

And it was just such a lovely sunny afternoon.  I couldn't resist.

Ok honestly, I'm not sure if this dress really qualifies as vintage.  And here's the story behind it:  

This dress was found some years ago at a little shop not too far from my house.  They don't usually have vintage or handmade items (the tag inside says "handmade for you"), and I didn't think to ask the story behind the garment.  I mean, the print was retro and awesome, I loved the shape of it, and it was an amazing deal.  So I brought it home with me.

The only downside... the fabric is this nasty, stiff, polyester stuff.  It's pretty gross to touch, but I power through it anyway.  All in the name of fashion, right?
